The food was always delicious when we ate in the restaurant. Now we have already ordered twice for delivery and twice we have ordered a burger without tomato. The burger came with tomato on both orders. We will no longer order the ox there as much as I like the ox. Because I have to say if you explicitly say no tomato twice and still have a tomato on the burger, I'm a bit annoyed and will then order somewhere else where it will work better.

Super delicious food, very friendly staff and outstanding spare ribs. I'm looking forward to the next order :-)

Incredibly delicious !!! Such a great delivery service. Fine packaging, fast delivery, hot food and nice people. Both the vegetarian dishes and the meat were excellent in taste. The portions are really filling. I'm excited!

The service was very friendly and fast, the cell phone ringtone was very loud and very annoying (for incoming orders) as was the delivery service that ran through the restaurant with full or empty boxes. The food was not quite as expected from the price / performance ratio a bread basket with farmhouse bread as a side dish for € 2.50 with 2 slices of bread, So a kilo of bread would have to cost about 25 €

Food was good, but parking is a bit stupid. The boss is friendly but unfortunately his service without a smile. This is a pity.

We had super delicious Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce, fried potatoes and a lamb's salad. That or the two wafers were nice and thin and very tasty, the lamb's lettuce was great. In the end, the fried potatoes suffered the same fate as the schnitzel, everything was eaten with great pleasure. Many thanks to the friendly team. Maybe think about a better marked entrance. You quickly overlook it or you don't dare to use the entrance and then prefer to drive again.

We only had a drink that evening, but the service was sigh of relief and very nice.

The schnitzel is sufficient, but the cheeseburger is inedible. The minced meat was partly raw and the overall picture was not right. Still, the fries were very good and the condition was very nice and the food came very quickly. There are far better places to eat in the area.

So an absolute 10/10 Delivery time was spot on (45min), the food was still very warm and absolutely delicious. My mother and I ordered a cooked cheese schnitzel with fries. With the homemade cooked cheese you could really taste that it was homemade. The marinade on the schnitzel was perfect, made really nice waves, as it should be. The fries were flavored perfectly. So a 10/10 from front to back

Historic tavern in a new light. The inn is rustic and cozy with a beer garden in front of the door. + The portions are just right + Service is attentive and friendly + Price / performance is consistent + Sanitary facilities are clean To the black ox I can recommend with good conscience, for all friends of the domestic kitchen.

Nice place. Good food

I was here today with the Schlemmerblock and a girlfriend for the first time we are totally thrilled. The food is totally delicious. My girlfriend had a champignon cream with home-made chips and I had a salad with loin. The restaurant was already very well visited at 18 clock, which suggests great popularity. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. We will come back in any case!

They try their best but sometimes even your best just isn’t good enough. The younger male waiter is the only good thing about this restaurant.

The building is very typical for the region (a must see) and offers different rooms for drinking eating and festivities. The bar has a large selection of drinks and a short but savoury menu.
